But we arrived safe and sound to our hotel outside of Manhatten. We parked our car at the hotel and took the train into the city.
We arrived at Grand Central Station, which was stiffling and stinky, but very pretty once we got up top.
Next we made our way outside, and headed down to the Empire State Building. We stopped and had a hot dog at a vendor on the way.
It took about an hour to finally get to the top, and it was very crowded, but the views were awesome! Unfortunately, we asked some guy to take our picture with the City background and it ended up being just our big faces and you couldn't even see anything behind us.
Next we made our way to Times Sqaure and got to watch some street dancers.
St. Patrick's Cathedral
Ryan lighting a candle for his Grandfather.
Central Park
The Plaza Hotel
We were upstairs in FAO Schwartz and these 3 totally different and cool buildings were next to each other.
Train/Ferry Station to Ellis Island & Statue of Liberty
We enjoyed the museum at Ellis Island so much, we spent a couple hours there, but could have spent another 3! There is so much to look at.
Pirate ship leaving Ellis Island
Statue of Liberty from the ferry
Ryan picking her nose. Some little French girl behind us saw him do it and tried it when her parents took her picture. They were not too happy about it.
We went up to the podium, the crown access was sold out and frankly someone would not have made it up those stairs anyhow....(not me).
We had so much fun and it was totally worth the trip!
