When I moved to Las Vegas 15 years ago I learned a very important lesson of living here.
IT'S HOT!
It's the desert! The wind blows like a hot blow dryer melting your mascara on your actual eyelashes, pretty much every day.
Now, I understand you east-coasters have recently experienced a bit of a "heat wave", but I'd like to share with everyone our back yard thermometer.

Everyone who lives east of Colorado, you can subtract 10 degrees for our lack of humidity, but I think it's obvious we clearly are still the winners.
Yes, that does say 110, and yes it IS in the SHADE!
On another completely seperate, but equally as important note,
Aubree has finally grown some front teeth!
(note her lovely new lizard necklace, the actual subject of the photo)

What a lovely smile, Aubree. Call your Grammy!
Yikes that's HOT. Here in Fernley it was a mere 103 yesterday. A cool down is expected to 101 this week. Wish I had your pool to help cool off.
Aubree LOVE the necklace (and the teeth).
XOXOXOXO
Glad we've only reached 102. What is it with this heat? I couldn't do it like you do. You're one tough cookie. Also, Aubree is adorable! Love it. Stay cool!
