Here's to next year....

We sadly say good-bye to the Red Sox for another season, as they lost pretty much every game since Emma was born, which Ryan is sure means she is a jinx of some sort. Crazy man.
Anyhow, the day of their last game :( I took some pictures of Emma in her gigantic Sox bow, but it didn't help.

Also, Emma went to her 1 month check-up and she is officially a giant. 95th percentile. I guess that's good, she will fit in with her brother and sister (and mom).

She's still a really easy baby, and has been blessing our lives for the past week with 5 hours of uninterrupted of sleep at night.
Karson & Aubree are such awesome helpers and fight over who's turn it is to but the diaper in the diaper genie.

3 weeks and a smile

Emma had a little photo shoot today and I got the end of some smiles, soon I'll get the whole gummy grin!

Beautiful Girls

Aubree & Emma ready for church.

Emma's first ride in the stroller. We did actually go around the block, it wasn't an "in the house" ride. :)

First Bath

It was standing room only for Emma's first bath last night.

Mom, Dad, Karson, Aubree & Grammy all gathered around to watch, take pictures and help! :)
Emma so far has been pretty easy going about most everything, no crying during diaper changes, or the bath or randomly for no reason (yet)!

Also, it's impossible not to take pictures of her in her darling little outfits!

Welcome Emma Jacqueline!

Tuesday started off normal enough, us gushing over Ryan because it was his birthday, kids going to school, us to work....then at 10:42 pm Emma joined our family on her Dad's birthday!

From the first few contractions I noticed until she was born was about 5 1/2 hours.
She weighed 7 pds 15 oz and was 21 in long.

Ryan was telling people she was 17 pds, for some reason no one believed him. :)

The awesome nurse got us released at 5 pm on Wednesday (less then 24 hrs from when I actually got to the hospital) instead of having to stay until 10:42 pm!
Ryan brought Karson & Aubree to the hospital after school and they were so super excited! Aubree has been following me around asking to hold her and giving her kisses and being an awesome helper!

So far so good!

Thanks for all those that sent presents and well wishes! We are so happy and love our time away from work and with each other!

The Champ

We took the kids bowling Saturday night, and yes, I did also bowl.

Aubree and Karson both did great, they could probably do it without the bumpers.

Aubree was the winner! Granted Ryan and I are crappy bowlers. Aubree's score is the first one and as you can (hopefully) see that she had a 116 on the last game and the rest of us were under 100. And her combined score was better then all of us.

So, Ryan told her when we got in the truck that she was the champ, and she said, "so I get whatever I want?"

Nice try.

17 days.....

Ryan and I have been busy bees getting the house and specifically the room ready for the arrival of little Miss havent picked a name yet with 17 days to due date Miller!

Luckily babies don't need too much space because her tiny room, which was previously our office, certainly doesn't have much!

It didn't even have a closet, so we converted the kids entertainment center into one for her.

Ryan had to do some construction work and re-frame the doorway and put a door on, which turned out awesome!

He also painted the room and the darling pink stripe!

I enjoyed every minute of the decorating and now we are all set, well her room is all set, I don't think anyone can ever be all set for a newborn.

But the countdown is on, and we are if anything, super excited!!

On another note, Aubree, who has played with dolls maybe 3 times in her entire life, has been packing around her baby doll, "practicing" to be a big sister!

Until last week, the toy baby carrier I had bought her a couple years ago only housed lizards.
