School

The big kiddos started back to school today.
Karson started middle school, so grown up, sniff sniff.
The Beautiful Aubree started 3rd grade.
And, nothing says love like giving your big sister loves, while picking her nose.

Emma Visits MA

Before we left for MA, Emma got an early Birthday present from her Grandma & Grandpa, a darling table and chairs, which she loves to sit and eat her breakfast and watch tv, just like her Dad! :)

Emma did fantastic on the 5 hour flight to Providence RI, where we should fly every time, way easier then flying into Boston!
Ryan and I joked that she got a standing ovation at landing, but we really did have a lot of compliments from passengers and flight crew on how awesome she was!
Emma got to spend the next morning with her cousin Brayden playing with all his cool toys!

Emma and her Auntie Shannon, pre-twins :)
As usual Shannon threw a fantastic party to celebrate Emma's upcoming Birthday on the 30th. All her little cousins were there to play, Emma had a blast!

Brayden hanging in the wagon, Parker loving the water and Emma just about to scoop a bucketful of water on herself!

Birthday girl waiting for her cake.

 May the sugar high commence!
What you can't see in this picture is the huge dollop of frosting on the back of her head. It was everywhere!

Emma got to visit her big cousin Nick at his college campus.
He plays football if you couldn't tell.
First time on Grandpa's tractor.
Next day we paid a visit to Ryan's friend Franny. He and his wife Michelle had twins about a month before Emma. Franny's brother Eric, and his little boy Colin, who also just turned one came over to join in all the baby fun! Emma got to enjoy more large beautiful backyards and more babies to play with!

Our next visit was to see Shannon & Mike and welcome the new twins. They were born on August 17.  They knew one was a girl, but the other was a surprise to all except Brayden, who knew he was getting a little brother!
Ashton was just over 5 pds and Brooklyn was just under 5 pds. Perfect and tiny!

Next up, Maine & the beach!

So I went a little crazy with the pictures, but they all turned out so cute, and of course there are about 30 more that I'm not posting! She loved the seagulls, which is what is is pointing and looking at in some of these.

 My favorite!

Grandpa giving Emma a ride in his cool FRONT baby seat! Whoever invented that is brilliant! Emma loved it and didn't even complain about the helmet! :)

Emma got to make a visit to Great Grandma's house! So many fun things to see and play with. I did do a lot of chasing and saying "Don't touch!", as there are also a lot of  none baby things that Emma seems to gravitate toward, of course.
Our flight home wasn't quite as smooth as we had to fly around waiting for the storm to lessen over Las Vegas.  Then we sat on the runway waiting for a gate for almost an hour.
This was two seconds before we finally let her get down and run down the aisle!
As always, we had such a great time in our whirlwind trip back east! Everyone is always so welcoming and thoughtful! I am so grateful to have Ryan's family in our lives, and Emma is one lucky little girl!
Thanks to everyone for such a great visit! For those we missed, hoping we get back for the holidays and to see you then!

Emma's Version of Helping

We had a two day yard sale and it was 3 days of prep, negotiations and craziness! Not to mention it was a million degrees outside!
But, we had our little helper!
Here she is playing peek a boo with the toys we keep trying to put in a box to sell.

Apparently she thinks her hair needs the protection from the bib instead of her clothes.
Here she is working the garage sale!
